About me
Hi, I’m Ames. My mission is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I work with individuals who are ready to break free from old patterns, heal from past wounds, and step into the life they’ve always deserved. Whether it’s unravelling the weight of trauma, navigating anxiety, or finding clarity during life’s transitions, we’ll walk this path together.
I grew up in a very strict, traditional family, in a rural area with very rigid societal values, meaning emotional discovery, nourishment and vulnerability were not encouraged. I often felt the tension between cultural expectations and my desire for individuality. There was little space for personal exploration or freedom, which left me with unanswered questions about identity, purpose, and belonging.
Throughout my life I’ve also experienced severely traumatic events, for which – at the time – there seemed to be no support or recourse. Over time, I realised how many of us carry similar questions and traumas—quiet struggles and hidden scars that shape our inner world. These experiences have deeply influenced the compassionate, empathetic approach I bring to my work today.
As I journeyed through life, I began to sense that my true purpose lay in supporting others in their personal growth and healing. Through my own process of self-discovery—guided by mentors, coaches, and therapists—I came to understand the profound impact of connection, empathy, and guided transformation. This led me to uncover my ikigai: helping others find their strength, navigate life’s challenges, and create a life that feels aligned with who they truly are.
This work is my passion because I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. We all have the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive—even when it feels out of reach. What lights me up is seeing those moments when someone I’m working with reconnects with their inner strength, overcomes self-doubt, or begins to envision a future filled with possibility.
In my practice, I use a combination of evidence-based approaches—including counselling, EMDR therapy, and NLP coaching—so that each session is tailored to your unique needs.
